Housing

There are many reasons why you might want to leave home. Some good, some bad. It's important to think carefully about why you want to leave and not to rush into a decision.

If you want to leave because of problems at home, first try to sort it out. Talk to your family, tell them how you feel and listen to what they have to say. If it helps, also talk to a friend, your teacher, your Personal Adviser or someone else who may be able to support you.

If you have to go, try to sort things out before you leave. That way, you can plan in advance when you leave and where you go to. Also your parents may be happier if they see your leaving as a natural stage rather than a spur of the moment decision.
