The Connexions Employer Services can help employers to recruit Young People.  We can help you make the most of the opportunity you have to develop the skills and talents of your new employees.

Who we are

Connexions is the national service that provides advice, guidance, support and personal development services for all 13 - 19 year olds (and up to 25 year olds with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities). 
Connexions is a service, first and foremost for Young People - planned with young people - and delivered alongside young people in order to give every young person the best start in life.

What we do

Every Young Person aged 13 - 19 will have access to a Personal Advisor regardless of their circumstances. For some Young People they may only need careers advice, for others it may involve more in depth support. The Personal Advisor will offer practical support and advice with important life choices such as education, training and employment. In addition Personal Advisors will help Young People with decisions about their personal development and also with issues like bullying, family and relationships, sexual health, racism and money.

Connexions is dedicated to:

  • Provide a universal service to all 13 - 19 year olds which includes careers guidance.
  • Serve as the key link between the worlds of education and work.
  • Promote opportunities to young job seekers.
