The website includes information about when and where help is available locally. Includes an index of a wide range of topics relevant to young people and their mental health and links to lots of other websites. Speak Up! was a project run by the Mental Health Foundation to improve mental health services for people aged 16-25. Although the project has been completed this site still contains lots of useful information and links. CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably, raises awareness of depression amongst young men. Unfortunately they have had to suspend their helpline through lack of funding but the website is a useful source of information and help. PAPYRUS is a voluntary UK organisation committed to the prevention of young suicide and the promotion of mental health and emotional wellbeing. It provides support to young people, their friends, parents, health professional and teachers. Includes a section on emotional health and wellbeing. A good local site from the Luton Churches Education Trust with straightforward information, recommended publications and links to other sites This site promotes itself as a self harm community on the Internet. Its non-judgemental approach encourages people to be open and honest and to recognise that they are not alone. This is an interactive self help site for teenagers. It's about you helping yourself - coping with common, and sometimes serious problems, as well as using your strengths.
